When will I receive my refund?

Priortax is not in control of when you receive your tax refund. Once you’ve submitted your tax return, and it has been accepted by the IRS, the timing of when you should expect your refund is dependent on the agency.

On average, e-filers who requested a direct deposit can expect their money in less than 21 days while those who opted to receive a check may have to wait up longer than three weeks. If you filed a traditional paper return, your wait time may be up to eight weeks.
